Don't let long hair disqualify you
Our jump judges are noticing a number of riders with long hair who do not "tuck it up".
Unless our jump judges can clearly see your back number they cannot record you going clear at their jump. If your back number is not recorded on the jump sheet then you risk disqualification for missing a jump!
Tuck it up and stay in the competition.
The FEI has granted permission for the following events to be 'targeted events' - meaning all riders who gain a qualifying round at these events will have the result count toward FEI Minimum Eligibility Requirements.
The events included are as follows:
Scone Horse Trials 9-10 March - CNC2*
Reynella Horse Trials 16-17 March CNC3*,CNC2*,CNC*
Ballarat Horse Trials 11-12 May CNC3*, CNC2*, CNC*
Warwick Horse Trials 18-19 May CNC3*
Wooroloo Horse Trials 18-19 May CNC3*,CNC2*,CNC*
Naracoorte Horse Trials 18-19 May CNC3*, CNC2*, CNC* (Wayne Copping has a number of fantastic changes to the cross country track)

Megan had to withdraw - Floyd goes lame at the last minute!
Congratualtion to Megan Jones and good luck at the 2012 Olympics. Megan is settling into the Athletes Village and Floyd is checking out his new stable.
Also, congratulations to Gillian Rolton - a member of the Ground Jury at the 2012 Olympics. SA is very well represented with several SA perons there as volunteers...

PIC Numbers must now be provided on all entry forms.
As of 1st January 2011 all properties with one or more head of livestock (including horses) has to have Property Identification Number (PIC). Additionally, EA SA have been advised that the PIC number must also be quoted on entry forms for competitions. Competition organisers are required to collect this information by the SA Government so, help them out, and put it on your entry form.
