Vale Caitlin Forrest

Today the equestrian community is shattered by the premature and tragic loss of Caitlin Forrest who died from injuries received in a race fall on Wednesday at Murray Bridge.

Caitlin Forrest was well known, loved and respected across the entire South Australian equestrian community.

Caitlin was one a fun loving person who commenced her equestrian career at Pony Club moving through the ranks to the Hack and Show Jumping rings and then on to a career within the racing community. Caitlin was a talented rider not only as a jockey but also as a showjumper.

Caitlin exemplified the joy of riding horses, always a smile when on a horse and always a friendly word to others.

Our sincerest condolences to Caitlin's family and partner Scott Westover. She will be greatly missed by the Equestrian and Racing Industry.

On behalf of the members, staff and board of Equestrian South Australia.
