Australian Interschool Championships 2026 Team SA Assistant Vice Captain Announced!

A Year 11 student at Xavier College, Gawler Belt, Chilli is a dedicated dressage rider who has long dreamed of representing South Australia at the Australian Interschool Championships.

 

Competing alongside experienced adult riders has taught Chilli some valuable lessons, to stay humble in success, resilient through disappointment and, importantly, to always encourage those around her.

 

While dressage is her passion, Chilli has trained across other areas of equestrian sport and has a genuine appreciation for the different skills and challenges each horse and rider combination brings. She has also supported riders with disability and taken part in an event promoting dressage during Disability Awareness Month.

 

Chilli loves helping younger riders and has coached beginners at a local riding school. She knows how important it is that every member of Team SA, especially our younger riders and those heading to Nationals for the first time, feel welcomed, included and supported.

 

As Assistant Vice Captain, Chilli is looking forward to celebrating the highs, offering encouragement through the tough moments and helping build the strong Team SA spirit we are so proud of.
