EA Youth Development Pathway

If you are 12 - 23, have your own horse and wish to improve your practical and theoretical
equestrian knowledge and skills in a fun atmosphere, this 3 day live-in development programme is
for you.

You don't have to be an EA member, this is open to all horse riders.

The programme is run by accredited equestrian coaches, officials and recognised industry
experts. Participants will be organised into age ranges and riding ability which will allow for the
programme to be tailored specifically. Topics covered include basic and advanced horse care;
competition preparation for the horse and rider; rider fitness and mental preparation. Participants in
this programme will also be provided with the opportunity to study in recognised NCAS Introductory
and Level One qualifications - horse management, personal riding skills and coaching.
