Equestrian Australia WEG Nominations - Driving

National Driving Selectors have confirmed Australia's Driving Team for the 2014 FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG).

The Australian Driving Team is as follows;

Boyd has represented Australia at the World Equestrian Games on three occasions (1998, 2002, 2010) and is the current world-four-in hand driving champion, having won the title in 2012 and also at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky. Exell has won the FEI World Cup Driving title five times (2009-2012, 2014) and the prestigious Aachen CHIO on six occasions (2003, 2009-2013). He has twice been named Equestrian Australia’s international athlete of the year (2010, 2013) and his team of horses have also been honoured twice, receiving the international horse of the year award in 2012 and 2013.

Robson represented Australia alongside Exell at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky where the pair placed 5th in the team’s event. Gavin finished the individual event in 17th position. Gavin is a two time national four-in-hand driving champion (1994, 2004). This will be Robson’s second World Equestrian Games.
