Introduction of All Abilities Classes to Interschool

For the first time, our Equine Stable Designs Interschool State Championships will proudly include - All Abilities Classes.

 

This is more than an addition to the program. It reflects our commitment to building a Championships that represents the full breadth of our equestrian community, and a sport that continues to grow in strength and inclusivity.

Inclusion in action matters.

 

Creating opportunity matters.

 

Ensuring riders enter the arena knowing they belong matters.

 

We are incredibly grateful to Jessie Smith, whose advocacy and lived experience have helped guide this initiative from concept to reality. Jessie’s passion for All Abilities riders has helped shape these classes with authenticity, care and purpose.

 

We also extend our sincere thanks to Megan Jones and Hallmark Farm for sponsoring the All Abilities Classes. Megan began coaching Jessie in the early days of her diagnosis, and the impact of her belief and can-do attitude was life-changing. As Jessie’s coach, Megan understands firsthand the power of opportunity, support and high standards in a rider’s journey.

 

Through Hallmark Farm’s backing, these classes launch with genuine meaning and strong support.

 

To Jessie and Megan, thank you for helping us bring this to life.

 

This is a deliberate step forward for Interschool SA. We will continue to lead with purpose, raise the standard, and ensure our Championships reflect both excellence and opportunity - for every rider.

 

We look forward to welcoming our All Abilities riders to the arena in 2026.
