Supporter Volunteer Membership

Equestrian SA (ESA) did not support the removal of the Supporter – Volunteer membership category (as per the updated EA bylaws) and the resulting increase in Equestrian Australia (EA) membership fees requiring volunteers to pay the EA equivalent of the other ‘Supporter’ categories.

Our volunteers are the backbone of equestrian sport in South Australia, generously giving their time, skills and commitment to ensure our events continue to thrive. ESA acknowledges and sincerely thanks these dedicated individuals for their invaluable contribution.

In recognition of their service, ESA has requested that EA return JustGo to the published Supporter – Volunteer membership fee of $185.

ESA will work to recoup the resulting difference in membership fee income through other means, ensuring volunteers are not disadvantaged.

We acknowledge that other states have also experienced overpayments and underpayments during the transition to JustGo, and we encourage affected members to contact their state branch regarding any adjustments.

ESA Volunteers who have already paid the increased membership fee are encouraged to contact the ESA office to arrange a refund of the difference.
